What we do

Divide your space the way you want

Drywall is ideal for fast renovation without wet trades. A new wall is often up within a day, followed by joints and finishing.

  • Lining walls against crooked or cold walls
  • New partition walls, with a door and sound insulation if needed
  • Dropped ceilings, for example for recessed spotlights
  • Pipe boxing and frames for a wall-hung toilet
  • Joints taped and filled, ready for plaster or wallpaper

How we work

Our approach

  1. Set out

We measure up and mark the wall with a laser, so everything is square and level.

  2. Frame

Metal stud profiles on floor, ceiling and walls. Wiring and insulation go in before the boards.

  3. Board

12.5 mm boards with staggered joints, moisture-resistant boards in wet rooms.

  4. Finish

Joints taped and filled. Then plaster, wallpaper or paint.

Price guide

Drywall partitions are always 21% VAT. Minimum charge per job.

Questions about drywall

Is a drywall partition strong enough to hang things on?

Light items can be hung with special cavity plugs. For heavy items such as a TV or kitchen cabinets we fit timber battens or reinforcement in the wall beforehand. So tell us in advance what will go on the wall.

Will I hear everything through it?

A single wall without insulation gives little sound reduction. With mineral wool inside and possibly double boarding it becomes much quieter. We'll advise what suits your situation.

Can I add an interior wall without a permit?

A non-load-bearing interior wall usually doesn't need a permit. In a rental home or an apartment with an owners' association (VvE) you do need permission. If in doubt, we'll check it together.
