Flooring
A flat base and a floor that stays beautiful for years. We level and lay vinyl, laminate and herringbone, including skirting.
What we do
It starts under the floor
A vinyl floor shows every bump. That's why we check the subfloor first and level it where needed. Only then does the floor go down.
- Removing the old floor and adhesive residue
- Levelling to a flat, dry base
- Click or glue-down vinyl, laminate and wooden floors
- Herringbone and chevron
- Skirting, thresholds and finishing around pipes
How we work
Our approach
Measure
We measure the moisture in the subfloor and check how flat it is. With underfloor heating we choose a suitable floor.
Level
Primer and levelling compound, so there are no dips or ridges. Then we let it dry properly.
Lay
The floor goes in the direction you choose, on the right underlay.
Finish
Skirting on, thresholds in, gaps around pipes neatly finished.
Price guide
What does laying a floor cost?
Laminate and click vinyl are quick. Herringbone takes more than twice as long. Levelling and skirting come on top. The floor itself is not included.
approx. € 17per m² for click vinyl, labour incl. 21% VAT. Glue-down vinyl approx. € 22, laminate approx. € 15, herringbone approx. € 34, levelling approx. € 15 per m².
Floor laying is 21% VAT. Minimum charge per job.
Questions about flooring
Do I always need levelling?
Not always. With laminate on a good underlay a small unevenness does no harm. For glue-down vinyl a flat base is necessary, otherwise you'll see every bump.
How soon can I walk on the floor?
A click floor straight away. Glue-down vinyl usually after a day. After levelling it takes a few days before the floor can be laid.
Can I lay any floor in an apartment?
Many owners' associations (VvE) require a sound-dampening underlay. Ask your VvE for the rules, and we'll choose a floor and underlay that comply.
